my best is my default. the kids call it “dads breakfast”
White rice Kimchi Avocado 4-6 fried eggs, over easy. coffee. technically breakfast but usually eaten 12-1pm |

Green chicken chilaquiles with 2 eggs over medium and a Mexican hot chocolate in Angangueo, Michoacán. Sorry, I don’t have pics. But if you ever care to see the Monarch butterfly migration, Hotel Bruno has a decent restaurant.

The best breakfast I've had is the breakfast on the plate in front of me this morning.
because all the other breakfasts I've eaten in the past years have already turned to shit & passed. |

I haven't eaten a breakfast in the past year - actually, I'm 68 now and haven't eaten a breakfast in the past 34 years (well, except 2 cups of coffee in the morning).
I just don't eat breakfast at all. |

There is a family place near me they have a buffet with the best bacon and sausage that is made local. Eggs, hash browns with cheese,rice home made biscuits and cinnamon rolls,fried apples. If I order from the menu it's ham steak with cheese omelette or two pork chops.

Aldi sells sausage links with a hint of honey in them. Very inexpensive, and the best link sausage I've ever tasted.
Lately I've been frying 4 of them, and scrambling two eggs that have heavy whipping cream whisked into them. When the eggs are done, I plate them, put a generous amount of salsa on them, and then lay the cooked sausage links next to the eggs. I call it my "second breakfast", because before I shower I have a mix of butter, peanut butter, and a bit of honey, all smushed together, on a piece of home made bread. "Second breakfast" is about 9:30, after I've showered and dressed. I've been taking Prednisone every other day lately to gain weight. It's working.

My wife likes to run in the mornings so when we're done, we cap it off with avocado toast, cottage cheese and protein pancakes. I don't get hungry till late afternoon.

it was a breakfast skillet with a green chili sauce at the local airport diner. (Small airports usually have really good restaurants ) Chorizo, eggs, potatoes, onions, peppers....yum!
