[Last Edit: Mr_Harry]
For years I've been dealing with the VA and my claim (back injury etc) from being in the Navy.
My first go around it took Seven Years to get my claim through and I was way underrated and denied.

When I went to get re-checked I was told that I was worse off, but they would say
things like "I don't see what giving you a higher rating going to do for you, etc".
So I pretty much gave up hope on them ever treating me right on all of it.

About 6 months ago, a retired Navy chief told me to go try again, since they are now
using civilian doctors. 5 months later my claim went through at a much higher rate.

Just passing this along for those who may have lost hope.
