Local small shop has a Trek Farley 7 in green for $2650. My cost would be $2200 after my company's healthcare pitch in. I've had a Salsa Mukluk for most of a year, and have really only used it the past couple weeks on the local ski trails. I've gotten to really enjoy it, though, and fat biking seems like the perfect cross trainer for me with hiking.

We’ve got the local Tsalteshi trail system here, and there’s a huge amount of biking accessible hiking trails on the eastern Kenai Pen.

*I’ve just started fat biking, and haven't used a bike in nearly 20 years.

What do you get with the Trek? The Salsa is a great bike. I have an old aluminum Muk with a front derailleur, a new carbon fiber machine with 1X would be nice.
