Mine will be plain with lots of iceberg, lettuce, and sweet pickle relish

Tuna salad made with Blue Plate mayo, a bunch of chopped onion, and a healthy shake of Tony C's. Rye bread with lettuce and tomato.

I also make it with Sriracha mayo from time to time.

This works, but fresh is best. I like chopped onion, pickle and celery in mine for some crunch.

I can’t stand the smell of it. My daughter likes it and I occasionally make tuna salad for her. I have to do my best to avoid smelling it while I’m making it.

I like mine Justin Wilson style.

3 Eggs, hard-boiled, chopped

2 tb Mayonnaise

2 tb Dill relish (heaping)

1 ts Louisiana hot sauce

2 ts Poupon mustard

1 6 1/2 oz can tuna, drained

Combine eggs and dill relish. Add the rest of the ingredients, except tuna, and mix really well. Then add tuna. If the mixture is dry, add some more mayonnaise. This is fine for a sandwich. "Sneak a little on crackers before dinner. GOOD! From Justin Wilson's "Outdoor Cooking With Inside Help"

I’d eat it! I love tuna sandwiches. I make mine with Dukes (of course), sweet relish, diced onion, hard boiled egg and Monterey chicken seasoning.

Fresh tuna is better than canned . Also canned salmon subbed for canned tuna is my preference . IMO

I wish to speak with the manager!

You do you but…

Grew up near the Starkist cannery.
Knew quite a few workers at the plant in the 80’s.

If you really knew what goes on in a place like that you’d never touch canned tuna again.

The mere thought of canned tuna sickitates me..

Nice.
I don’t do tomatoes anymore (diverticulitis), but LOVE a toasted tuna salad and bacon sandwich.

I have six tins of Natural Catch tuna in the pantry now. I’m going to blacken them and serve with rice and a salad.
Healthy meal.

Had a tuna melt the other day. Cheesy wonderful goodness on griddled sour dough. Probably 2k/cal that my fat ass didn't need.
But boy, was it good!

Tuna with basil and ranch dressing, on Hawaiian bread, is amazing.

I haven't made any in a while.  Probably fix that here in a couple weeks.

Looks good.  Needs more Duke's mayo though.

ETA:  My family's recipe growing up was always super simple.  Canned tuna (drained), diced onion, diced celery, a healthy dose of mayo, lots of fresh squeezed lemon juice.  That's it.  So good I can eat it straight out of the bowl with a fork.  No sammich assembly required.  Whenever we did get fancy with tuna sammiches, fresh tomato from the garden and cold iceberg lettuce on white toast made for such a nice and well-rounded meal.  My mom always served them with Pringles chips for some reason... they go hand-in-hand for me still to this day!

That's pretty close to the way my Granny made hers.  She would dice up a slice of apple and put in there sometimes. The sweetness from the apple was a nice counterpoint but too much ruined it.
Also, don't go overboard with the hot sauce. Tobasco or Texas Pete is fine in moderation. I don't think a reaper or ghost pepper sauce would work too well.

Tuna salad is fucking delicious.  So I thought OP had good taste. Until he referred to ruffles potato chips. Which are the absolute e bottom of the barrel, worst fucking possible, sad ass excuse for potato chips ever fucking devised by man.

Substitute those heinous fucking ruffles for a decent brand of kettle cooked tater chips and I'm right there with you OP.
Fucking ruffles?  Seriously?

OP there is nothing like a good tuna sandwich.  There was an eating place near where I worked that made the best tuna on toast.

I made crawfish étouffée tonight for supper.  Actually made it to bring to my son and daughter in laws house tomorrow, but wifey and I sampled it for supper

Nope, miracle whip.  Miracle whip is better than mayo for tuna and egg salad sandwiches.  You can’t change my mind.  I like mayo on other stuff, but tuna and egg salad get miracle whip.
