Good to know Wilson made it off the island and is a member here! Jk always cool to see what the community can do. From dogs that need a ride across the country to house being burned to the ground or flooded.

As much shit as we spew, when stuff gets bad the crew bands together.

Thank you for your efforts, the wife and I were staggered and humbled by the generosity of this community.  Words can not express our gratitude for the folks here, the Med. cruise and the time in Europe was the single greatest gift she had ever received.  For those that didn't see the post in Team, she passed peacefully on May 7th.  This place restored my faith in humanity during a dark time, I will be forever grateful.

Don't undervalue your role.  You've helped do a whole lot of good for a whole lot of people.  On their behalf, thank you.

That support helped me to keep things going for my son. He was 12 when she died; now he's 28, is a SysAdmin at an IT company, and will likely be married sometime next year. I wish Linda could see all of this, but I feel good about helping him, along with all of his own hard work to succeed even having lost his mom.

Linda sees EVERY bit out of it Sir... your son carried her in his very being. If you believe in God than you know she is watching from above and likely helping to guide him. You no doubt heard her words in your heart and it helped make decisions that guided yours and his paths. Someday you will all be reunited.

A big thank you to Striker for coordinating these fundraisers.

The potential for scams would not allow me to donate to strangers without the vetting provided here. I didn’t donate to everyone as I am a poors but did several times.

@Subnet

Striker, because of you, and the ARFCOMers who donated to the late Fatalwishes' family, FW_wife was able to keep the house she & Fatalwishes built.  His son is about to graduate high school and has applied to community college - if he takes to Academia I've got most of a GI Bill & Texas Hazelwood Act to see him through at least a bachelor's if not a Masters.  He made the Dean's List this quarter, so there's hope.

Wilson, you've got big boots to fill - they probably have snowshoes on em, in fact, given Striker lives in an igloo.

This is a follow-on to guns762's existing fundraiser.  Usually a couple of us start a separate GD thread that we bump continuously towards the end of the fundraiser to help guns sell more tshirts, and that way it doesn't clutter up his project thread w/ shitposts.  Waiting to hear from guns762 & you.

My thread just got locked because they said I didn't have approval from you.

Would appreciate clarification.

Thanks
