BEHOLD GENTLEMAN, the Costco poverty club set by Callaway.  For those that want to look like they might play golf!  I saw this year's version at the local store, looks like the changed color scheme to blue, fuckers, I like blue.  

I did pick up a Cleveland CBX4 last week at a clinic/fitting to fill that 10 degree gap, it's pretty.  

But don't fool yourself, I can skull the set sand wedge just as far as I can that new Cleveland!

My son keeps trying to get me to upgrade to the Paradyms. I think he just wants my Mavriks.  LOL  He got hand me downs when I bought them and he thinks he needs "new" clubs again.

Taylor Made P790 Irons - 5-PW & AW   Ventus graphite shafts   +1" longer, 1.5 degrees UP (lie angle) and loft increased by 2 degrees on all irons.
Vokey SM9 56 & 60 degree wedges.  +1" length & 1 degree UP.   60 degree has a 12 degree bounce that I use for sand.
Taylor Made Spider Putter   - 35" Double Bend

I don't anticipate any other buys right now but I'm thinking about a SM9 Vokey at 52 degrees to replace the P790 AW.

Ping i210 4i-9i, PW, LA Golf L-Series Stiff.  (Beast of a shaft.  Stiff is enough.  Used to be in X100, and these are comparable if a touch looser---probably should have HS x1---yet launching lower, despite weighing 5 grams less.  A lot of it is lessons, too.  Otherwise, very useful and no more elbow pain.  If you Quasimodo the shaft handle, give them a look.)

Weirdly, the Ventus is not the vertical rocket launcher I was imagining.  With lessons and drills, I deliver a lot less vertical loft now, and overdid it with killing spin mods (2300 RPM on Trackman, measured, isn't cutting it with 10-11° launch.  Used to be >3000.). So I thought I'd give this Red I have a try.  Works really well so far.
