I’m not sure if this has been done already, but post up the weapons you have carried on duty during your career.  After 30 years in service, I have carried quite a few. Here they are in order of when I carried them:

Sidearm:

HKP7M13
SigSauer 226
Glock 23 (back up)
Glock 27
Beretta 96D
HKUSPc
SigSauer229
Glock 19
Glock 26
Glock 17
Glock 43 (back up)
SigSauer P320

Long Arms:

Remington 870
Remington 870 (14” scattergun tech)
HK MP5
Steyr AUG
Colt M4 (11.5” bbl)

My favorite sidearm to carry was the Glock 19.  It is my current duty sidearm.  Some of these have been personally owned which I have been giving to my kids when they are old enough.  Something to remember their old man by.

I've carried a bunch over the years. Feds were much more open to "if you can qual with it, you can carry it" with only a handful of restrictions.

LE career spans 1998- present

Handguns-

S&W 5946
Ruger GP100
S&W 4506
S&W 3913
S&W 610
S&W 1006
S&W 1066
S&W 4013
S&W 342PD
Sig 229 DA/SA
Sig 239 DA/SA
Glock 27
Sig 229 DAK

Now carry-
Glock 17 with RMR
Glock 26
Sig 320 with Romeo1Pro
Sig 320 is mostly for teaching/range use, I like it, but I carry my glocks on the street.

Long & sub guns-
Rem 870 (20", 14" and the even the 12" witsec model)
Select Fire M16 (mil surplus, original slick side, not even an A1)
AR15A4
S.F. Mini-Uzi
S.F. Mp5K-PDW

Now carry-
S.F. M4 with Aimpoint

This is spanning 29 years of law enforcement coming up this April. My current agency has largely downsized to only 9 mm and only a couple of options available but we used to have 20+ models and makes that we were authorized to carry if you purchased them yourself.  I’m sure I left a few off the list as I’m just going by a quick memory dump for this post.

These days it’s Glock 19 or 17.

I didn’t include the 25 caliber Beretta pocket pistols that I used to carry as a back up.

For long guns:
Benelli super 90, Remington, 870, colt M-16 A1 and A2,  M4 (actual full auto), LWRCM6A2

Colt Trooper .357 magnum (old model made on the Python frame, or what became the Python frame.)

Colt Combat Commander .45 acp.

S&W M29 4".

S&W M686 4".

The few times I had a "long gun" with me it was either an old M97 (so I could break it down, tie a short cord to the halves and drape it over my shoulder under a rain coat to make it easy to carry into a place I wasn't supposed to take it.  Easy to put back together and load with 00 buck once I was inside the stairwell.

Couple of road block warnings (you might get a call for back up, etc.) I'd grab the M1A and a few magazines of FMJ.  No one was going to hide behind a car/van on me.
