It’s a 2020 truck and all I’ve ever used the winch for was pulling a fallen tree out of the trail once.

Go get your buddies truck stuck, then use yours to recover. I use mine to recover other vehicles far more than anything else. I'm sure you can think of creative ways to recover your own truck.
I also used it to pull a dead truck up onto a trailer that was hitched to another truck. It was kind of a 3 truck circus in the middle of town, but we got the job done. Is it a power wagon? Of all the options on my power wagon, the winch is the one thing I wouldn't live without again. It's incredible. |

I used mine to bend a piece of 2"x6" tubing I needed for the front of a trailer I built. Sucked it right in place it did. Used it to pull my JonBoat out of our lake. Downed trees are a regular event around here. I drag pallets etc. on a trailer with it all the time.

A couple tree saver straps a snatch block and a zip line trolly, climbing/safety harness or you can just use a length of rope with a loop to put your foot in.

You can shoot a deer and drag it up over a tree branch to gut it without any effort. Then slowly drop it into your buddies truck.

Tear down a rickety shed, pull down dead trees, move an engine onto a trailer, yank a dump truck out of the mud, remove tree stumps, move heavy shit, etc. I have used my winches for all of the above in addition to typical vehicle recoveries.

I don't know why but I though caribou were deer size. That thing is big.

A really big bull might go for 150 -175 pounds of meat...A nice bull moose though averages about 600 pounds of processed meat, the biggest bull we have taken produced just over 900 pounds of meat..he was about as big as they get... |

Pull your truck to heavier objects, and pull lighter objects towards your truck, sometimes pull them upwards, sideways, or lower them downwards, I think that covers 99.9% of all possible uses.

I have a zip line at the cabin for the grandkids but as they got bigger we needed a better setup. I had an extra 100" of 3/8 cable and used two tree straps a snatch block and made an improvised temporary zip line using the same trolley. It was good enough the adults could go down it. |
