CAO Bella Vanilla.
Decent flavor, nothing special. Seemed like a semi-rubbed flake in texture. |

Had some Captain Black Gold. Didn't like it as much as the white.
If you like Captain Black, do yourself a favor and try Lane's BCA or 1Q. Any tobacconist worth their salt will carry them (most likely under a different name).
Will do, I have about another month before my next order, but already have plans to try some Lanes alternatives, way cheaper also.
BCA is a black cavendish and is pretty much Lane's #1 Seller. We used to sell it as "Point Four". Their 1Q is a very mellow aromatic which some people say is chocolate, some say is almond, some say is coconut. I'm not an aromatic guy at all, but the store founder smokes it all day long. We sold it as "Unique". Get it? 1Q..."Unique"

GL Pease Maltese Falcon and Iwan Ries Gourmet English. Both are awesome mid strength English blends, Gourmet is a little sweet and Maltese has a creaminess and spice to it.

Tried some English Stout from pipesandcigars.com Horrible Threw out the rest of the 2 oz. bag. Came in a sampler

I like how more and more people are smoking pipes now that it's getting cold. I'm following the same mantra.
Today I smoked more of my favorite Gold and Toasted. |

Something about the cooler weather, and change of the leaves. Just brings out the pipe smokers in all of us. Had 2 bowls of cajun queen, and a bowl IQ |

There is a bit of a floral-esque vanilla taste as well(from what I have read this is the deer tongue). I am not sure if I like the level of perique or not...towards the end of the bowl it was rather peppery and the sweetness and vanilla fell almost totally away. But its worth a few more bowls to make sure. |

Esoterica and so to bed.
Probably not a good choice for the first bowl after a 15 yr hiatus. Not sure if I love it or hate it. Smoked in the new Savinelli Hercules as well. Also, not a good move. The bowl is freakin huge |
