I bought an arduino and I'm really digging this thing.  One of my first projects is building a small widget driven by a motor.

However, to get power from the motor to the gear box I built I need either a micro v-belt or some seriously tiny chain and sprockets.

Where do one come up with such things?

Choose the purchased parts first, then design around them.

Or make custom parts.

Micro Mark carried small gears and similar parts in the past, now I see they only have screws and hardware.
Keep your powder dry, and watch your back trail.
