5 acres next to a golf course
or 2 acres next to a gun club |

Gun club, assuming most people use suppressors
|
|
|
Neither of those

Gun club. I'll be working during their hours of operation, and when I'm off during those hours, I'll be shooting.

I kinda like golf course communities even though I don’t golf. They’re generally quiet and have lots of nice walking trails.

Friend of mine had a house about 2-3 miles from a gun range. In winter when all the leaves were down, sound carried quite well.
I wouldn't want to live there, incessant gunfire seven days a week can get to be tiresome. |

Golf course.
I'd camp out on the property line and extract a toll for return of errant balls. Kharn |

I live on 55 acres right next to a golf course. It’s a little podunk country club out in the middle of nowhere. I like it.

I already live in a golf course community, non-pubic

|
Depends on the gun club.

How does the golf course fair with me shooting on my 5 acres?

A cemetery would be better than either

There was a beautiful 5-7 acre (-ish, I dont recall exactly) property that came up for sale bordering my gun club. If I was in a different position financially at the time, I would've strongly considered it.
Golf course would be a strong pass from me. |

With the correct equipment and tactics, a golf course would make one helluva deer harvesting plot.

Gun club.
They won't bitch about any noise I'm making. Golf course pricks will bitch about everything you do if they can see it or hear it. |

A landfill would be preferable to either. Fewer people who won’t care what I do. Gun clubs have their own brand of Karens. |

This is exactly my thought My answer is neither, and I currently live next to neither. But if forced I’ll live next to the golf course and belong to and shoot at the gun club |

Considering that I am at my shooting range 5 days a week, I pretty much live at a shooting range.

I used to live about 2 1/2 miles from Clark Brothers in Opal, VA, and really only heard their range in the winter. I guess 2.5 miles is my threshold for living near a gun range. I love my gun club but couldn't stand to live by it.
I'm not a golfer, but a golf course next door would be OK, I guess. Maybe errant balls would be a problem, but I dunno. |
