I would do this one as a poll but not even sure what all the popular slicers are. I'm using (And have always used) Ultimaker Cura. Never had a compelling reason to change but interested to see what else people are using and if maybe I should adopt a new slicer. Asking this now as the Bambu is on the way so wanting to see if I should get something more suited to the Bambu printers and multi filament printing

I haven't kept up but does Cura even have a profile line up for Bambu machines?  if not you'll have to switch to Bambu Studio or Orca slicer.

Prusa and Orca.

Prusa for MK3S+ w/MMU3

Orca for the Bambu X1C

I've used Cura up until very recently. The K1 Max came with a cura clone or Creality version I guess. The Creality slicer works great, other than the fact that you can only use OEM mainboard printers with it. Neither my E5Pro or E5Plus will be recognized by the software.

I’m still very much a FNG with my measly 160 print hours but so far Prusa has covered my needs.

160? Pretty sure the thermal paste hadn't even settled in yet.

Heck my Bambu has 400 on it and I just got it!

I was using Prusa slicer but now I have a Bambu x1 carbon AMU so it’s Bambu for me.

Orca is pretty damn nice.

The calibration stuff is insane and gets a printer with klipper far closer to perfection than anything else.

Be prepared to do lots of reading.

99% Cura, but probably need to play around a bit.
