Both sisters learned to drive with it, my brother drove it till he ran it out of oil. Sounded like Thor's hammer banging on the engine block.

Now: there's a hint that this vehicle is not truly British. It's due to a characteristic of all British cars which is not evident in this picture.

Technically not a Biturbo since the coachwork is unique to the 228, and the car is quite a bit bigger (but yes, it does use the 2.8l twin turbo V6 ).  Only 469 were built.

It was just his awkward attempt at bragging about his father's Porsche. My reply was more along the lines that the Pacer was just really difficult to shift. I can't really call that a victory, but it did shut him up.

Factory color matching hardtop on my twilight blue mica Miata NB. 3 year search for it. Factory color matching rigs are pretty rare. Resprays not so much.
Mazda recently did a limited run on new hard tops. $4,888 in black only.

It absolutely spent more time in pieces, than on the road.
It originally had an 850cc engine, but I dropped in a 1275, overbored to 1380cc. 10" wheels were replaced but 13".

My friend used to live in Japan and still has contacts there, so he had them watch the auctions for an Acty microvan.
It took over 6 Months for it to be found, tweaked (mainly TB/WP service & tires) and arrive via Roll-On Roll-Off vehicle transport ship.
This was after the C19 supply chain issues hit, so I don't really know what's normal.....but it seems like the days of bringing the minitrucks over in containers were over, at least a couple years ago.

They ARE road legal in Michigan, but some States have backtracked and others never approved them even after they are over 25 years old as the Feds require.

They are a lot of fun to bomb around in, but with only 38HP on tap you really have to boot it to run with traffic.
Being RHD and shifting with the Left hand wasn't much to adapt to, but the wiper and turn signal stalks being reversed made for some extra fun during the learning curve
I mounted a GPS speedo and while I generally avoid the freeway, it clocked out at 73mph.
Its happy zone is really 40-55 or so, it'll do that all day enjoyably.

Note; the van versions have a LOT more room in the cockpit, since the seats can move back/tilt beyond where the cab ends on the trucks....and the roofs are higher too

That’s like like the old joke (there are various versions) about two ranch owners and one starts bragging about how big his ranch is.

“I can get in my truck and it takes two hours to get from on end to the other!”

To which he other guy replies, “yeah, that happens when you drive a (insert brand you want to make fun of) “ or “we have shitty trucks where I am from as well….”

I know even a 'stock' one did pretty good chasing jackrabbits through Texas sand and cactus.

We could get it airborne with four teenage guys inside.
