I can get a big bottle of Suave blue shampoo for $2. It works on my hair, why can't I use it as a bodywash too? Clearly it is capable of cleaning, it doesn't leave residue in my shower like a bar of soap, and it smells nice. Everyone likes the smell of freshly washed hair so why wouldn't it be a plus that all my body smells like it too? The lather isn't the thickest but I bet I could use it as a shaving lubricant in the shower too.
Seems like this idea is not only economical and efficient, but a superior fragrance idea also. |

Why not just sponge bath yourself from here on out?
No thanks. I'm not going to be lazy about showering and will bathe properly. |

Suave makes a 3 in one shampoo, conditioner and body wash. It smells nice but it’s better to have separate soaps for every purpose. You’ll be cleaner and happier.

I've used this for years..
body wash, shave, shampoo.. gets blood and oil stains out. It's good shit when you can find it. Attached File |

Quoted: I'm still put it on a scrubbie or wash cloth. I'm just substituting it in place of more expensive body wash. View Quote I'm not judging. You do you OP. Personally I can't stand body washes.....they feel slimy to me. I use shampoo for my hair and bar soap for the rest. ETA: If you don't stink, I think the job has been accomplished satisfactorily. |

I've been doing it for years and it works just fine. Not everyone's skin is the same though. You may find that other products simply work better for you at certain times of the year.

You get props for just washing even if it’s just water …bravo !

View Quote Clearly you believe there's a significant difference between body wash and shampoo - do you know if there's a difference? Feel free to share it This article says they're different than goes on to say that they're pretty much the same pH, that they musy be detergents that don't entirely decrease, that they have a conditioner, etc. Seems like they're the same shit to me and the availability of combination shampoo/body wash agrees. |

I just use Kirkland body wash for hair and body, works great!

There's a lot of truth to that

Recent studies indicate that men exposed to parabens may suffer from a variety of health complications, including decreased testosterone production and increased production of weaker sperm that are abnormally shaped and/or slow moving.

Just use a bar of soap from head to toe.
I've been doing that since college. Lather up your hair, then use a wash cloth lathered up for everything else, rinse off and done. Takes like 5 minutes. |

I’ve been known to use the red surgical soap too, but that is a liquid. Herbicil or some shit like that. I use Nizoral anti dandruff shampoo, not because I am plagued with dandruff all that often, but it makes my hair look really nice! Way better than the expensive shit my GF’s hair broad talked me into buying. I’m not entirely sure the Dr. Bonners actually get you all that clean though. |

I’ve used shampoo as a body wash and it worked just fine and I’m still alive.

That's what this is, just the cleansing ingredients from shampoo without any froo-froo. |

I have to take my own bar soap if I'm staying somewhere because lots of people don't use it. It's impossible to get clean without a good wash cloth and some aggressive soap. I think a lot of people just don't sweat much or get very dirty every day. |

View Quote I think body wash is wasteful AF, seems like you use way more of it than you actually need. It’s just a PITA and it feels weird. I think it’s a con job on the makers part. We use those Korean/Japanese wash cloths, which is just a fancy name for a towel bath scrunchy. They do get you clean and you don’t have to launder them. |

Red Devil Lye, takes care of everything. Brother you will be tingly clean!

Bar of Ivory. Good to go.
I had a weird contact allergy to early-80s anti-bacterial soap. My hands and feet broke out in micro-blisters that were layers deep. It wasn't helped by my father's need to scrub it heavily and then farm doctor it with gasoline. (He thought it was something fungal) Eventually, I did see an actual dermatologist. He instantly nixed soaps, detergents, perfumes, and a huge list of other crap. The dermatitis eventually cleared up but instilled an almost superstitious need to steer clear of weird soaps. Ivory. Prell if I'm super grubby. Prell is also a fantastic parts degreaser (Just FYI) |

This. Since before Seinfeld made fun of it. Recently broke the $3 price barrier.
" /> And soap, no bodywash. Not gay. |

Adam Carrolla has an interesting take on this. Have u ever seen a balding homeless man? No, they always have a huge mane of shaggy hair. Soaps and shampoos make your hair fall out. Thought that was funny.

I’m confused. Is someone gonna jump in your shower and kick your ass if you do?
You can wash in bum piss for all we care. |

I only use body wash .. I’m bald with a shaved head . Less things to worry about.

You guys need to put your girlfriends soaps away and just try water only for a week.
Thank me later. |
