Of all the pickups I see in NOVA, like 5% are like that. The rest are luxury and near luxury SUVs without the benefit of securable cargo space. Just calling it like I see it. And it's great to live where we can drive what we damn well please.

Doesn't have to be beat to shit to be a work truck.

View Quote I see that all the time around here.....mainly the lawn care guys. And then I see the trucks sitting at the bars all day from Nov to May here. I buy the most basic, rubber matted stripped down units I can find. And that's not easy here. My oldest truck is a standard cab, 8' bed, 2016 and has crank windows and manual door locks yet. I also have a 2016 F150 standard cab XL that's basic. My newest truck is another Tacoma access cab, 4 banger with no back little jumper seats. Still has a key to unlock from drivers side only. I just got it about 3 months ago. I really love this little truck. My other 3 trucks (all 2020 and newer) are much nicer, but aren't used for actual work as much with my bigger equipment. I need to make money, not impress people. |
