Would an M18 fuel or a 20 volt Dewalt battery even work for this purpose?

You'd need a bunch of batteries. The amperage just isn't there.

Makita did it, it was pedal assist. And slow.



The newer Milwaukee batteries (XC, HD, etc) are capable of delivering 2500 watts peak, and 1500 watts sustained based on YT tests. So about 2HP of raw potential output ignoring motor inefficiency. So two of them could get you 4HP. Not a ton, but probably workable for a small pit bike. It's not going to be anything crazy though.

There are RC cars that can double this power output.

I’d get a Ryobi bike, and have Unlimited Range.

Dont even tease me. A Ryobi 40v 2wd utility electric motorcycle. Like a Rokon... Yeah, Id get one.

We have some ebikes.  48 V is where you want to be.  And 20 Amp or larger battery.  LG an Samsung make a lot of the better batteries for Ebikes.   Wear a helmet.  These things fly.
