State is appropriate thats some real red neck shit right there .

Yeah. She'll complain if stuff smells though. My garage over broke once when i had some cerakoted parts ready to cook so I did it in the house. She complained. I didn't care. She got over it.

Why would you clean things that aren’t dishes in the dish washer? Just use a parts washer or an ultrasonic depending on the circumstances.

I'm fortunate enough to have a place to clean/ degrease stuff, and preheat things, without having to contaminate the appliances I use for food.

OP has a strange way of asking for recommendations for a new dishwasher & oven.

Lot of tough GD on here who don’t need to ask permission from their wives. I bet just slip it in the back door without asking just because.
Afterwards it’s back into the kitchen you go little lady and await further instructions. |

I've pulled motorcycles into my kitchen as a single guy to do maintenance on and never considered running parts though the dishwasher.
And I don't have a problem eating with greasy hands. |

My wife's car had an issue after she had taken it to Jiffy Lube. I took it back and while waiting went to a Regal dealer next door and bought this. She was surprised when I got home..

Didn’t tell the wife. I don't know about cerakote, but VHT high temp paint doesn't smell AT ALL if you let it fully dry before baking in the oven. I've also annealed aluminum parts in the oven using the self-clean cycle. A lot of ovens will hit 650F during self clean and hold it for 2 hours. Good for annealing if you need to bend 6061 without it cracking. |

Lol…let. I had a similar conversation with a buddy about me baking a rifle I just painted in the oven to speed up the drying process. He said his wife wouldn’t let him use her oven to do the same. I asked if his name was on the mortgage and if so it was his oven also. That being said I make sure I’m respectful and clean up after myself and make sure the house is well ventilated.

I left a 40 pound gut pile in the driveway for 4 days because there were more deer to arrow.
on the 4th night she drove up the driveway after work and encountered a big coyote staring her down standing over the gut pile and could not get out of her car. So I got a phone call from the driveway while I was in the house that started with .... "you God damn REDNECK"...... and ended with ..... "get out here with a gun and take care of this coyote so I can get out of my car" I love that woman! |

I'm not married so I don't have to have anyone "let me do something".
I do what the fuck I want, and yes I have cleaned engine parts off in the dishwasher. |
