Nice piece, Wave-inator! After looking up a couple of examples on GunBroker, the price is competitive with some bottom feeders, and the quality appears to be better.
I'd just be getting a Pointman Minor, though. Either that or a Charles Daly 1911A1-EFS. Whatever I can squeeze out of Uncle Sam for my refund will be the deciding factor. |

Damn, What did we ever do to you? That is nice |

You, sir...are a douche bag. For the simple petty reason that that picture made me nut myself. Never shot a suppressed weapon...and if I could pick just one...that would be it. Want to come visit me at Purdue? :-) |

I concur. :) |

Just when I thought I had all the calbers covered in my collection W-W just had to post a 10mm Dan Wesson![>(]
How's she shoot? I'm standing by for the longslide variation of the DW 10mm... |
I'll tell you what. The DW RZ10 is a lot of gun for the buck. I would also say the 10mm is a great round. But I wouldn't want to shoot it from anything smaller or lighter then an RZ! |

nope. plain old serial # |

I asked Bob at DW to use my name as the serial # on my RZ10 and my wife's name on her PM.

I have just now decided on my next pistol purchase for my brand-spankin' new CCW, when it arrives in the mail: A Bobtailed Pointman Minor in black. And yes, less is more.
I think I am going to get an SGW, because they apparently have a gunsmith there who is awesome and my buddy has a wrecked frame we can get w/o papers and have a replacement cut with the same numbers.

I like the hard ruff surface. It afords a firm none slip grip. The grip doesn't have sharp edges like some people might think. As you probably alreay know Simonich calls them Gunner Grips. At one stage in an IDPA match we had to submerge our hands in water right before the timer went off. I didn't have any problems gripping the pistol and firing off that string. Plus it looks cool and a Marine Recon unit is trying them out also. |

[ArtieJohnson]Vedddddy interestink![/ArtieJohnson]
Me like, if they're not too rough on bare hands. For CCW, the skateboard tape would have to go... For anything else, it's great. |
Rambosky What are the grips on the Springfield? The all blue that is.
Those grips are "Burner grips"
Flat wood or plastic with glued on 3M aluminum oxide particles (IE Skateboard tape without the tape.) The particles do unfortunately wear off and the wood or plastic becomes visible. Other than that they are nice grippy grips. |
OK thanks. Am looking for some grips with the stick/grip of the skateboard tape or similar but would like them to be durable. Any ideas welcome.

I got those through Springfield. I think they put them on their TRP Operator. GreenO is correct. The "grit" comes off and gets into the pistol. I've since replaced them with another pair of "Gunner Grips". |

Do you like the RCP? Is it lighter then an Ultra Carry??? |
