Bought the Galloway Precision spring kit for the K2, and reading through some other threads, people mentioned they had light strikes until they put in a Tanfoglio LF extended firing pin.

This got me thinking since the K2 traces it's lineage from Tanfoglios how many parts would be parts compatible? There's some obvious parts that wouldn't work (slide, barrel), there's some that seem very unlikely to work (trigger bar), but then there's some that seem more possible (trigger shoe, firing pin, trigger bar guide, etc). Watching break downs and from a visual inspection between a friend's tanfoglio and my K2 the sear cage (and associated parts) look extremely similar.

I don't expect those parts to be a drop in fit, but with minor fitting they seem like they should work. Has anyone attempted to fit any tanfoglio parts for a K2?

I have a K2.  I do recall that the sights are oddball dovetail pattern.  But something like the back one can be replaced with M&P pattern sights and the front one you can use a CZ-75.
