Got more than a few Dan Wesson's and am looking at these two. The specialist is everything I would want in a trp but that triangle top cut of the tcp looks appealing.

I'd carry the TCP, the Specialist I believe is only in steel frame.
That said, my next 1911 will be a Specialist. But I carry an ECO. SOrry for the non answer. I prefer the Specialist of the two. |

I've got both and love both. If I could only keep one it would be the specialist just because I prefer steel frame.
The "style" of the tcp is awesome though with the squares off front, top, and other little touches DW collection. Somehow missing the DT valor  Attached File Attached File Attached File |

I prefer the look of the specialist but I always have. The tcp would be a lot nicer if it’s actually going to be carried for sure. Wearing a full steel baer right now and they are chubby

One's an aluminum framed commander and the other is a steel framed government so I guess it depends on what you want it for.

I've carried a TCP on and off for about 6 years. It's a good pistol in that role.
For a pure shooter I'd prefer the Specialist. |

I thought you meant the specialist only came in govt. OP. Just get both (commander and govt specialist) and TCP
