I am looking to get some mil-spec 45 ACP ammo. I am looking for the best, most consistent, accurate, and quality available in bulk for stacking. I want to be able to use it in 1911, Glock, Sig and PCCs. All help would be appreciated.

I’ve been using palmetto states AAC 230 gr ball ammo, seems solid to me.
I just grabbed another 250 rd can on sale !! https://palmettostatearmory.com/aac-45-acp-ammo-230-grain-fmj-250rd-with-plano-30-cal-ammo-can.html |

I like Federal American Eagle 230gr but doubt it’s “mil-spec”

Milspec doesn’t really mean anything anymore in 45. Pretty much all 230 grain ball is made to a pretty narrow specification pressure and velocity wise. Anything on sale will do. I prefer to avoid Remington but federal, Winchester, CCI S&b, PPU fiocchi all have been fine

Pretty well covered above. Even a Dillon SDB will kick out some good ammo.

I keep couple boxes of Fiocchi 230gr FMJ ammo. It's totally reliable in my 45ACP pistols and will chrono around 850 fps from most 4"+ barrel length.

I grabbed a 100 rd value box of Winchester today from my LgS. Looks like good stuff as usual, had 100 rounds of federal last week from him as well. Shot perfect.

View Quote Last time I sent couple rounds of Winchester White Box 45ACP over my chrono I was surprised how slow they were. From my 1911 with 5" Wilson barrel and Sig 220 they averaged at or slightly below 800 fps. |

I practice with Speer. Buckinghorse has them for $20 a box.

That's not really shy if his chrono is a bit slow, or his elevation is different the right way. |
