I picked it up today for $375.00. I've always wanted a PP and this one fit the bill. I know zero about Walthers and I'd like to know when this was made and if it's anything special. Thanks!

It's an Interarms import, the "69" stamped on the barrel is the manufacture date.
These Interarms guns were absolutely top of the line quality pistols. It appears to be a standard model, nothing unusual, but a very nice gun. I'm not all that current on these Walther's, but I think the right hand grip is a replacement. You stole it at that price.
Well done. New Mec Gar magazines for it are available and are totally good to go. Probably will have problematic function with JHPs, as older PP series pistols were designed around ball ammo. Try several brands, and go with the one (ones maybe) that it functions properly with. |

Recoil should be "snappy". I much prefer the .32ACP versions but at that price, why the heck not.

The grips are correct and probably original.
The gun was made by Manurhin and the eagle on the right side is their logo. |
