Has anyone changed the Tritium vials in their nights sights before? I have an older Beretta 92FS Centurion which originally came with Trijicon night sights. The vials are long dead and I would like to have new vials.

I contacted Trijicon and they no longer perform the service and referred me to Amerigun USA. Well they quoted me over $300 to mill the slide for their front sights and install rear sights. I paid $400 for it in the first place and don’t  want to spend that much and I want to retain the original look.

I have seen Mixglo sells the Tritium vials. Has anyone done this before and how big of a hassle is it? I see holes on the opposite side of the dead inserts so I think I could get something inside to dissolve the current adhesive.

Heat very gently to soften adhesive, outdoors. Push out old vials. Use clear UV glue to install your new vials. Tritium is radioactive make sure you understand the hazards.
