Does anyone here have one of these? I recently took one on trade and while researching the value of it I noticed something. On mine, on the left side dust cover about an inch and a half back it has “czc mesa arizoa” etched into it. I haven’t seen this on any of the others I’ve seen for sale. I’m aware of what czc stands for but if you own one, does it have this marking or no? Phenomenal pistol by the way, not sure if I’m going to keep it or let it fund a mk12-ish build. Got a shadow2 in the same trade and may just cajunize it and let the sp01 go.

If I'm not mistaken, the shadow target 2's are manufactured by CZ Custom, so they would have their markings on them.

The picture on CZ Customs website shows that marking as well:

Yep, correct but

https://cz-usa.com/product/cz-75-sp-01-shadow-target-ii-cz-custom/

It’s not a big deal to me, more of a curiosity. Like maybe it was an early or later production thing or something like that

The gun in the GB ad is used.  The CZ website states that it's CZ Custom (see below).

I have a CZ Shadow Target 2 that I purchased new. It has the same marking on the frame from the CZ custom shop.  The pistol has an excellent trigger from the shop.

Yes the trigger is exceptional. I traded a staccato p for mine along with a shadow 2. The target 2, in my opinion, is a far superior pistol to the staccato. The fit and finish, the trigger, everything about it. It really makes me want to get my hands on one of the even higher end czc guns.

I have an AccuShadow 2 from CZ Custom and other CZ’s and definitely prefer them over my Staccato P.

I remember this collection from a post I made a couple of years ago about custom cz’s vs the staccato. I wound up with a ts2 first but I still had this nagging desire for a staccato. Sold the ts2 to fund the staccato. After the first mag through the staccato I wanted the ts2 back.  Much much more pleased with the target 2 and shadow 2 I got for trading the staccato. Cz’s just have more personality.
