I’m going to go against the grain on this one, but people should reduce the buying of stuff they don’t need.

If you really want it then go for it, but don’t buy it just because it’s a deal.

I agree with this mentality most of the time. There are exceptions such as buying goods that you would otherwise buy anyway at later time (such as paper towels, toilet paper, canned goods, etc.), or if it is something that you actually wanted to buy but would not normally buy because it's too expensive.

Items that aren't really wanted or needed cost space, time, and the loss of the buying power of the money that is no longer in your bank account.
