Today I switched my CZ P09 from a De-cocker to a safety. What a disappointment, couldn't reach the safety without changing my grip. I'll be changing back to the de-cocker tomorrow. Does anyone manufacture an extended safety for the CZ P07/P09? I'm fine with the de-cocker, just thought I might see how the safety setup works.

Not sure but I think I remember one of the models offered a regular and an extended in the box. I keep all mine that can be as decockers though

I think you're right. I switched mine back to De-cocker. I am happy with the decision.

I made an extended safety for my P-09 as well. Cut a shallow groove length wise into the stock safety then superglued a "shelf" of plastic into the groove. Then used Sugru (moldable silicone glue that hardens) to cover it all over. It works well but is a bit chunky. I hope someone like KNS gets one out on the market.

Who wants to be the guinea pig and test out the KNS version for the rest of us? My biggest complaint about running my P07 and P09 in safety mode was the stupid thin safety lever.

They’re out of production. They cited tolerance issues, I guess maybe it varies from pistol to pistol…
