Wow, I really like the work on the trigger guard. Did you do the work yourself, or was it done by a smith?

I'd like to buy another G19 solely for this purpose.

Oh, thanks.  Being able to do this sort of stuff is one thing that swayed me on the Glock over a CZ.  I did it myself.
I wrapped 600 or 800 (if you go to low, you will gouge the plastic) sandpaper and wrapped it around a 3.8" dowel to raise and bevel underneath the trigger guard near the grip.  Then I did the rest of the guard.  The trick is to try and get a consistent thickness over the entire guard.  A lot of people make it too skinny in places.  After shaping it, I finished with 1000 grit wet/dry black sandpaper, sanding wet.  This gives you a nice smooth finish.  You can also LIGHTLY, very lightly, stipple it to give it some texture to sort of match the rest of the frame.
This was the first iteration.  The guard was a bit more squared at the time.  You can also see the bevel near the grip:

Up close of the raised guard before finishing with 1000 grit.

Unedited, since I can't find auto color in gimpshop lol Still I think it came out pretty well considering it was taken with my Droid.

ETA: Final edit added.

From my office desk, this is a G23C, but I was told to put a non comp barrel in it so it is really a G23. This is my favorite carry piece (I have an issued G22 RTF and a G24C) and it is an absolute workhorse. In THOUSANDS of rounds it has never had a failure. It is currently disgusting dirty from use.

Damnit, Jonny! Don't you know that the only reason to have one of those "extended clips" is to commit mass-murder? Shame on you!!! This is why we can't have nice things...

used glock from the local store. so far I've replaced the internals, 40 -9mm threaded bbl from lonewolf, reduced the grip, reduced the underside of the trigger guard and the front, texturized the back strap, stippled the frame and threw on a cheap adjustable rear sight while waiting for the new sights. cheap fun gun and was even more fun to customize

Do some of y'all even shoot your guns ? Some of them look like they just got taken out of the box.

My lowly 17 also used as a duty weapon. Has never failed me in 3 years of owning it.

Just got my first Glock, a slightly used 3rd gen G19.  So far, I don't know why I was ever biased against these things, I've always shot Glocks well.  I traded an old Colt Agent on one of these. Big firepower upgrade and just as concealable.

Anyways, first time out.  About 50 rounds at the local indoor range.  Targets from left to right in order set at 7 yards.  I think I did pretty good.  I don't take much time between shots.

Going to get some nightsights for it and call it a day.  I like this gun as it is really.  Maybe able to talk myself into the vickers mag release, but I can hit this one fine it seems.  This G19 is one of the shinier finish ones.  I wanted the matte finish, but whatever, it is as tough as nails and really doesn't matter.

Thanks for the compliments. The phone is the original Motorola Droid.  Decent pics with good lighting, if you can hold still.  I can't but only a few were out of focus.  As for the lighting, the pics were taken on my dresser which has built in lights. Unfortunately as you can see in the whit pic, I have very little light in the rest of the room.  Hence the shadows.

My first attempt at a decent pic.  I have a few out there that are just crappy cell phone pics w poor lighting.

I'm more of a 1911 guy, but I do have a few of Austria's finest.

G17 gen3 with TLR-1 on top, G19 RTF2 on left, G26 on right, and G19 gen3 on bottom.

Usually carried in Comp-Tac or Galco Holsters.

Here's my every day carry. Glock 27 sitting in a High Noon Hidden Ally and loaded with Hornady Critical Defense.

Glock has grip plug, Pearce mag extender, extended slide release and tritium sights.

Figured I'd try something different.  I'm sure it would be more impressive if I set my camera up on a tripod and bothered with getting decent lighting.  Maybe someone with more of an interest in photography can do a 360 style shoot.
