a lot of times it adds tax when you put an item in your cart.  I have no idea what you experienced

Price was 454.67 when I posted, then soon after it went to 499.99 made sure my sale went through first, before I posted it
with 19.95 shipping, total charge was 474.66 shipped, did not charge me tax...  cheapest I've seen one so far
