I can shoot 40 S&W in my Glock 20.5 10MM without any issues to my pistol ?
Seems so wrong. lol |

Should be fine. Keep in mind the extractor will be holding the 40 in place.
This may accelerate wear on that part. Glock will frown up on it though. |

You should give the chamber a VERY good scrubbing & cleaning to remove residue after shooting.

Yes.
But be aware that the front-to-back dimension of the 10mm magazine allows the.40 S&W rounds to shift forward/backward. Don’t count on it to feed reliably with that sort of slop. But it will fire, and I have done it. I’m not interested in shooting PLAIN LEAD .40 S&W in a 10mm gun. But as already mentioned, you will deposit a ring of gunk in the chamber that may interfere with function when you switch back to 10mm. It’s hard enough to get 10mm to cycle reliably as it is. |

I've loaded and fired at least four different types of 180gr JHP, 180gr FMJ, 165gr JHP, 155gr JHP, all 100% with my G40, G20, and RIA 1911. I can't ever recall a malfunction with any of my 10mm pistols with reloads or factory ammo. |

I checked with RIA about shooting 40 S&W out of my 10MM 1911. They said no. Not sure about other manufacturers but I wouldn’t.

I’m sure any manufacturer will tell you to only shoot what’s marked on the barrel.
That said, I’ve shot lots of my 40 hand loads in my G20. No issues. The brass drops right at my feet. |
