This is my daily carry gun.  Started out life as a Springfield MilSpec.  The only parts still factory is the frame and slide.  I had a good sample to begin with, which made it easier to put the time and effort into this gun.  The final revision has a Tungsten DLC PVD finish.  It's the same finish as Sig's Nitron, and was done at the same location in NC.  The weapon has had in excess of 10K rounds through it.

Mag release is being tested at this time.  I might be going back to the standard one soon, since it has some fit issues with the holster.

Yes they do.  Aside from Sig, they also do the coatings for FN, Kahr, STI, Nighthawk, and Tussey, among others.

Got my 1911 back from Custom_Concepts last night. Had some parts added and a new KG Gun-Kote paint job done on it. Started out life as an Auto-Ordnance 1911 A1 U.S. Army.

This is pretty much what is in it now:

Cylinder and Slide Tactical II hammer, sear, disconnector matched set
Ed Brown 2 piece magwell Mainspring housing Fitted and blended
EGW extended ejector
Wolff 16.5 lb recoil spring and Wolff factory mainspring, Wolff factory sear spring
Millett adjustable White Line Series 100 sights. These were on it before the face lift and will probably get replaeced in the future
Wilson combat extended safety and slide stop.
McCormick Extreme High Ride beavertail w/ speed bump. Fitted and blended beautifully
McCormick trigger

The paint is a combination of Titanium and semi Gloss Black with some groove accenting done to the slide stop, safety. trigger, hammer and the slide serrations.
