Mailed out my slabside upper to Jim to have it threaded 1/2-28 and the front sight moved back. Total was $180. Shipped it back to me a week after receiving it. Service included recrowning the barrel and a knurled thread protector. Threads were nice and clean They have some carbon from the can in the pics. If you're looking to get a bull or slabsided Ruger threaded but haven't because of the front sight, I can recommend Jim and would definitely use him again.
