I am looking for these specific rosewood Marine Corps grips. I'm not sure who manufactured them, but they were sold by Kimber a while back, along with grips for every branch of the military.

The pictured grips are officer length, but I'm looking for full size grips. I can't seem to find them anywhere. contacted Altamont and VZ, neither could help me.

I posted this on another forum, but have not been able to locate these yet. If I can't find them, I may consider something similar.

If anyone knows where I can get these, please let me know. Thanks!

I’d be very interested myself… please advise if you find a source.

I did, and no one there even remembered selling them. They were not helpful, unfortunately.

Everything there is out of stock. I have emailed, no response yet.

Those look nice. Everything on eBay now is too flashy. I'm looking for something simple.

The Kimber branded armed force series grips had been out of production for a decade (I believe). From time to time, it showed up in online auction sites. Not very often though. Your best bet right now is working with RMH that can custom make your design on variety of grip material, including wood. I am sure it will cost more. Some examples:

Maybe I'm channeling my inner SgtMaj, but I'd prefer that the anchors both point forward (anchor inboard, just like collar devices do), for the $100+ (that was his price in 2014) that he charges per set.

Me too, but regardless he never responded to several emails. So as of right now, I have no way of getting these grips or grips like them

OK, I'm not a Marine (past or present).  But I gotta ask...In this pic, flipping the anchor seems like it also flipped the continents in the globe too.  Is that how it is in official insignia?  Wouldn't that be worse?

LoL!

Yes, that is how it is properly worn, just like how the anchors are as far forward and at the narrowest part of the bow of a battleship,  and no, it isn't worse, just because. . .

(the battleship part is probably just a SWAG answer)

That Marine's collar insignia isn't evenly pinned, either.

Check with Altamont Grips.  A Google search for grips that look like the ones the OP posted showed Altamont as the possible maker.  I didn't immediately see any on their website, but you can try contacting them.  Otherwise, check eBay for "usmc 1911 grips" they had dozens, but nothing that is a match for what the OP is looking for.

I’ve got that set of grips.
I’d trade them for a set of walnut double diamond WW 1 types

No, on the real ones the content of the globe is not reversed, it's still Earth.

I contacted Altamont, and they didn't make them, and couldn't help me find them, unfortunately.
Everything I see online is flashy and not my style.

I got a set of the Kimber USMC marked stocks off the EE here a long time ago. Hard to find!

They used to be so common! Kimber was blowing them out on sale for a while. Never thought I would need the full-size ones so I didn't get them at the time.

You might also want to check the MCX if you can. I know one here locally there's a MCX located outside of the base and they are selling firearms and have several Marines specifics.
