I have a 365 and a xl slide with sig red dot. I tried a 320 red box 9mm. Just wasn't for me. Traded it for a g34 that I really like. About a year ago I shot a 226 rental at a range. It was just a trade in pistol but I shot it well.
At first I thought about a 40cal 226 from cdnn. Then later buy a 357 barrel.
Now I'm buy once cry once and think I want a 226 x5 or a 210.
I'm a stickler for accuracy and I know the 210 has a reputation and x5 also.
I really prefer the look of the 226 over the shorter barrel.
Any deals or suggestions. My birthday is end of this month so I have a good excuse.

Any of the P226 XFIVE Series of pistols would be well worth having. The SIG SAUER Custom Shop does a great job on these pistols. Accuracy is great and the trigger is super and adjustable (if need be). Whether the STAS, CLASSIC, or the LEGION, you cannot go wrong. Of course, you will have to pony up some cash, but they are well worth the money.

The Sig "X" series are nice guns and very smooth to operate. You can find some deals on them every so often on Gunbroker, used unfortunately, but most people hardly ever shoot them and they are like new. I almost got one,Sig P226 X5 Legion, for a little over $1200 but found another grail gun I wanted at the same time and couldn't get both. I kick myself over that.

I found a stainless 226 x5 shot 50 rounds for $1900. Otherwise they are $2200-2400.
There was someone that had a couple of them in the ee several months ago. Now they are gone.

I'm not into the Gucci SIG's

I don't do Gucci guns.

I have three PD trade-in 226's.

I like them.

Spend your money on ammo.
