[Last Edit: SquatchAv8]
Took my new PX-9 to the range today after mounting a Cyelee Wolf Pro red dot.
Very impressed with this pistol and the features that come standard for $285.
Red dot doesn't need a mounting plate and cowitnesses with irons.
The manual says it needs at least 100 rounds of break in and I fully agree.
I kept having the slide fail to fully return to battery during the first 50 rounds but that disappeared and by 150 rounds the gun was running very smooth.
It is alot more accurate than I am and the trigger is really nice.
The only ammo I had any issues with was 115 grain Monarch steel cased FMJ. I had 2 failure to extract during the first 150 rounds and they were both the Monarch steel.
After 200 rounds it ate everything with no issues.
A solid self defense choice.

My recoil spring assembly baseplate had a slight bend to it. I sent pics to SDS and their gunsmith responded that it wouldn't be an issue but they would send a replacement anyway. Gun ran fine but it will be nice to have a spare.
