Do you carry them cocked and locked with one in the chamber like a 1911, or are they carried with the hammer down and are Double action first shot? Thinking or getting one of these EAA Hi powers to play with.

@Member13 Maybe get a Springfield or Girsan to carry in that case. War time Hi Powers are collectible.

You are going to use a WWII Hi Power as your carry gun? If your extractor breaks you will find why that wasn't a good idea.

Agreed on this.
If you want to carry a hi-power, buy a modern Girsan or a surplus FN that won't matter if it gets beat up, and will probably be more reliable. Don't carry a collector piece.
