Do you carry them cocked and locked with one in the chamber like a 1911, or are they carried with the hammer down and are Double action first shot? Thinking or getting one of these EAA Hi powers to play with.

Original Hi Powers aside from some of the FEG clone variants etc are not double action.
There is no probllem carrying them C&L. |

I am still looking for a kydex holster so I can open carry mine
I just don't know what status I will keep it in.....or whatever the boomers call it......kondition Mine is a occupation marked one.....so it doesn't have all the safety features of the others |

War time Hi Powers are collectible. |

If you want to carry a hi-power, buy a modern Girsan or a surplus FN that won't matter if it gets beat up, and will probably be more reliable. Don't carry a collector piece. |
