I'm looking, ideally, for a level 1 holster for a canik tp9 elite combat. With optic and light. I love the idea of sarafilands level 1 thumb levers; but they don't offer that for my canik.

I ordered a "slimfitholsters" holster and I hate it.

Can anyone recommend me a good duty holster? Perferably level 1 but level 2 can work also.

You might look for a Don Hume, Safariland, Bianchi or Gould & Goodrich S&W 99 or Walther P99 duty holster but I doubt you can find one made for a tactical light.   Your Canik might be close enough to fit either the S&W or Walther P99 pistols.   You might look for a used holster that is still serviceable.

Don Hume had a duty holster for a S&W 99 and Safriland Website list several duty holster for Canik.  I check G&G and they had nothing for Canik, S&W 99 or Walther P99.

I'll check out the others you linked.

As for safari, they don't have a level 1 duty holster that allows for a light and optic. Unless im missing something.

I couldn’t tell for sure if Safariland would accept a light and optic from the web site.   Even if Safariland offers a holster you want that accepts an optic and light it might be hard locate for purchase.

You might consider emailing or calling Safariland as they used to be interested in the LE market.  The founders of Safariland and Bianchi were both LEO.

Unfortunately once you step away from the most common LE duty weapons it gets difficult to get duty holsters.   With the current trend of adding weapon light and RDS only adds variations required for a holster to match each combo.

It's annoying that Safariland still won't make Canik specific holsters, and I've tried asking them about it.

However I found a reddit post that shows that Caniks can work in a Safariland S&W M&P holster! I ordered a black then later a Coyote brown 6360RDS and with the stock barrel plug the gun will lock but the SLS hood will barely scrape the butt end of the slide. Swapping the plug with a Glock one, it's like it's meant for Canik! I tried both stock TP9SF and my METE SFT with Holosun EPS and Olight Mini Baldr and both lock in perfectly, gun sits low enough for the SLS hood to clear it!

I have found my Caniks fit in all my Walther PPQ holsters.
