I was out for a ride yesterday and stopped at a lgs, I had stopped in last week and was looking at a used p229 legion and I was going to pick it up but it was gone. I was told they just received a shadow 2 compact and it wasn't even in the case yet. After handling it I couldn't resist. I've never owned a cz, what a beautiful gun. Two questions though..the safety is way too small. Is there an extended version but only for the left side? Also, what holsters is everyone using for this thing?

Both CZ Custom and Cajun Gunworks make a version of that safety, but both are out of stock.

OWB, try Falco and CompTac for holsters. IWB, try Vedder. They make them for the S2 and the P-01.

Great pistols. I have only fired the full size shadow but I have a75D compact. Great little gun. I can’t have a shadow in Kommifornistan.

Dang, I just got one at CZ-USA a week or two ago. Should have bought two. They’ve been OOS in the states for months. Although it seems a large shipment of S2C’s hit, when you see something CZ in stock that you want, you better grab it.
I’ve been very happy with my ANR with TLR-7 holster. They also make it w/o light. Look in the quick ship section. |

I have the full size as a range gun and love it. It is the most accurate Pistol I have currently.

Check these guys for a safety. I think they are based in France? Shadow 2 safety MIGHT fit the compact. |

Try Bears Gun Room, RT 315, Wilkes-Barre, PA or Advanced Arms, Pittston, PA. Both are local to me, I picked mine up from Advanced Arms. Both have a web site or give them a call. They will ship to your FFL.
