Stumbled upon a 29-3 6” this morning in the local classifieds, I am going to do my best to rate it but I am far from a expert at that, I will say it’s 90%, has a little ring around the cylinder and 1 or 2 little nicks around the barrel, I paid $625 for it, did I do ok?

There is a 4” of the same sitting in my LGS for 1k. Pretty clean gun

Sounds like a "BUY ME NOW" price to me. Especially if it's in a good a condition as you say.
I forget the dash number of my 29 (early 80s) but it has an 8" barrel so l don't "need" another one. But for that price I'm sure it would have followed me home. |

I paid 700 and am quite happy. Just got an action job, moon clip cut and had the sight milled for dx sights. It is my new ICORE gun.
