Gave the mete mc9 a try for the wife, but it was just overly too bulky for what it was. Outside of a great price point and superior trigger, it didn’t really offer anything else. Had read about jamming issues, and sure enough it kept happening with the wife shooting - probably due to her tiny hands not fitting it very well, but it wasn’t confidence inspiring.

Picked up the sig p365 micro and outside of a shitty trigger, it’s perfect. Tried every micro/sub compact 9mm and don’t think anything could beat it.

I’m getting rid of my 365x and keeping the reg 365. I don’t like it but haven’t found anything that can outweight its pros vs cons. I hate the P365 trigger.

Pick up the factory flat face trigger for the P365 and spend $25 on this spring kit. You will have a great trigger. I’ve spent a lot of money trying different triggers for the P365 but so far this has been the best set up. I’ve never had any issues with ignition using all kinds of ammo. My carry ammo is 124gr +P HST and it has never failed to fire and I have the same set up in two P365s each with 1,000 rounds of HST through them. Winchester white box, 124gr NATO, Magtech, have all reliably functioned.

Funny how firearms are such a personal experience and preference.
I sold my 365x a year ago because I couldn't shoot it worth a crap with my big hands.
About a month ago I bought the MC9 because it was on clearance at Academy and I love the FDE finish.
It immediately became my favorite EDC and I can shoot it more accurately than any other pistol I've owned.
I haven't had the recoil spring issues that some are reporting but I contacted customer support just in case and they sent me a new spring no questions asked.

My x has the flat trigger. I don’t like flat triggers for some reason.

Those parts are the exact configuration that I did to my 365x. My range guns are higher end CZ's and some 2011's. I have no issues with my modified 365x. The factory trigger wasn't as bad as some compacts but i didn't like the feel of the curved trigger and how far forwatd it sat. The flat faced trigger with the mcarbo kit makes it a smoother more controlled pull. The only thing i will say though is that the spring kit gets the pull weight down pretty low for a carry gun. YMMV

I have both the MC Canik micro , I added a fact front night sight , I also have a new Sig 365 there was a time I wouldn`t even look at this model Sig when it came out with the teething problems it had . I do really like this 365 shoots very well for a small gun , but I `am still keeping the Canik they are good to also .
