I have a tx22 that has 7-8k through it and am starting to get some light primer strikes with various ammo (CCI, federal, Winchester)

I took the striker out and cleaned the channel and still no luck. I've seen some aftermarket strikers (wondering if mine has become worn or the spring weak). I've been on Taurus's site and see they no longer take emails, only calls. I've tried filling out their forum before but it keeps coming up as an error.

Has anyone tried any of the aftermarket strikers if they've had a problem? I'd just jump on one but 40 bucks for a small part kinda sucks.

Taurus has a great lifetime warranty...as long as they send you a shipping label, let them fix it.  It won't cost you anything.

Try a new recoil spring.

Aftermarket striker does seem to have helped my TX22. I'd still pay for a higher strength recoil spring if someone makes them.
