Has anyone had the barrel on a Kimber .22 conversion threaded?  I'm thinking it wouldn't be hard (for an actual machinist anyways- not me) to cut and thread the barrel for one of those adapters- the kind that look like and function like a normal barrel but you can unscrew the end piece and screw on a 1/2 x 28 threaded adapter?

I had that conversion kit years ago...had a gunsmith machine a custom adapter for it, much like a Walther/S&W adapter.  I wanted to use one of those adapters off the shelf, but the barrel diameter was different.  An easy job for a competent gunsmith/machinist.

I figured that would be the case.  I think I'll hit up Rose/Guncat and see what they say.
