Over in the 1911 Forum is a thread and there seems to be three different colors.
The accurate FDE/Coyote color, a very dark brown color and a greenish brown. Is there color variation or are the pistols all brownish and people just have some over exposed lighting making it look lighter like the M45A? |

SDS says the color is FDE and the photos are lighting.

Pics or video of the gun in varying lighting conditions and camera settings will always alter the color. It's FDE/Desert Tan. |

Does anyone know the exact Cerakote code for the Raider? There are 4 different “FDE” (Glock, Springfield, MagPul and plain FDE), and 2 different “Desert Sand” ( C-211 & H-199); no “Desert Tan”.

I’m at work so can’t post a picture right now but I’d call mine either FDE or Coyote. I haven’t noticed any ”greenish” tint to it and it certainly is t dark brown. It’s an accurate and reliable shooter so far but I’ve only run 300-400 rounds through it so far.

Mine looks a lot lighter than yours, ha. I'm also guessing its lighting though.

Mine came in Friday and is definitely a typical FDE color in brighter light.
In shade/darker light it looks more coyote
