This is the revolver:
I was looking at OWB Craft holsters but open to suggestions. https://www.craftholsters.com/ruger-security-six-2-75-holsters Including this one: Also, I use HKS speedloaders but was also looking at the 5 Star ones likes this one below. 1) Anyone have any experience with them? 2) If yes, do you buy the bare aluminum or coated? https://5starfirearms.com/k6-357-38-speed-loader/ |

Best speed loaders are Safariland.
https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1015297822?pid=272712 Closest to the body holster Milt Sparks …about 10 months) . Next best a pancake style like Galco Combat Master. https://www.galcogunleather.com/combat-master-belt-holster_8_1_1063.html. Bianchi 111 Cyclone Holsters. If you don't see the Ruger SS listed, get one for a S&W M66. I cut down the left handed one to fit. |

As a rule K frame holsters fit the Security Six. There's literally hundreds to choose from on ebay.

The Safarilabd Split Six can’t be found anywhere. Wow, you can normally find a few on ebay. Nothing. Speedloaders in the pockets works OK if you don't put anything else in there. A 2x2x2 is another option for belt carry. I'll carry spare ammo in one when I'm in the woods or just around the house. |

I've reverted to carrying two speedloaders in an HKS 203 (medium size) pouch. However, I've had to modify them to work properly with my COMP II speedloaders. Simply cut down excess material around the body of the pouch to allow easier grasp of the loader. I cut just above the button-snap in a horizontal line, this will leave the body of the speedloader exposed for easier access once you unsnap the button...
Of course, this is a little bulky, but I tend to wear loose fitting button-up shirts. Or in cold/winter I usually have on my coat or zip-up hoodie. As for a more slim option you can look into the DeSantis 'second six' carriers, but they do cost a bit and IMHO aren't as comfy to wear all day... |

Can't vouch for this vendor, but they're showing the Safariland 371 in stock: https://speedloaderstore.com/contents/en-us/p407.html
Says it fits Safariland J-K2C, J-GL8C, J-P3C, J-R4C Comp II Speed Loaders. The Safariland lists the J-R4C for the Security Six. |

I have a pair of these medium Triple-K Speed Loader Pouches that fit my HKS Speed Loaders. While I like shooting revolvers, I rarely carry one unless Deer Hunting.

The 5star speedloaders work just fine. They are the only ones who make a 7 shot 22 magnum speedloader for j-frames so I have quite a few.
As far as holsters go there are too many good options to list but I do like simplyrugged.com for revolvers. Get the inside waistband straps and you can easily convert from OWB to IWB. |
