Well, we were going to go to that "special" range, but after we walked over and saw all you alabama boys and those farm animals we decided we would pass.

Let me rephrase the target issue.
BIODEGRADEABLE AND NOTHING THAT LEAVES A MESS!!! If you bring pumpkins you better bring a shovel to clean them up with. John goes WAY above and beyond to make our shoots a success. We don't need to leave a bunch of shit for the other range members to have to clean up. mike |

Wooo ... hey now maybe Im on the worng forums. Anyone that can make the jump from AR-15s to sex toys needs some better meds. If your spanking with Hobbs9 you need a little talk'in to. Well, some won't be surprised, but once again, I can't make it. A month ago I said I'd be willing to participate in a team for my company that goes down to the Gulf to assist in converting and closing some of our Eckerd units that we bought, and lo and behold, I'll be doing that on a Fri., Sat., Sun. & Mon., two weeks in a row, starting this next Friday. See what trying to step up gets ya? At any rate, I'm sorry that I will miss once again another shoot, y'all have a blast. I'll see y'all again someday.

How many are you expecting? Me and my brother will be there. So if not too late put us down for lunch etc.
Anything needed at the range? I have some old political yard signs and such for targets. Not much fun since they don't explode but may be good for sighting in.  John |

Well, after planning on meeting all y'all and then having to back out (more than once
), looks like I'll finally be able to attend. No church, family, or work obligations this Saturday - just the B'ham gun show, and I figure I can come by for a "visit" on my way.I don't plan on shooting - I have my own range on my property, so I'm not going to take up range time from the "city folk" who don't have the option of shooting anytime it strikes their fancy.  (That and, like Mike already said, I don't want to leave a lot of expensive gear in a car parked at the BJCC  !) That being said, is there anything special that I can/need to bring?I'm really looking forward to meeting my Arfcom neighbors!

Yes, I know a 4-star lunch will be available at the shoot (it sounds really good!) - but I'm thinking more of an early light breakfast or just some coffee, with a lot of good old-fashioned gun talk and story-swapping. (And the opportunity for a newbie [to the shoots] like me to actually get to know some of you I didn't see any mention of this - is it something y'all ever do? Any interest? |
