Well, I guess I'll toss in my $0.02 on this class.
I thought this was an awesome class (although the only other class remotely related to guns I've ever attended was the GA hunter's safety course...
). The material covered was stuff distilled from years of experience and training in doing business with a handgun, not just from competition. IMHO, it is definitely not a beginners class, as I was getting my butt kicked on some of the drills. The class is extremely intense. Both of my hands were hurting by the end of the first day and they were cramping by the end of the second day.
Some of the guys in the class were scary accurate in their shooting. It was like shooting next to the friggin Terminator; they were machines! SDave's teaching style was a lot like a drill instructor, which is good, since I needed some of the lessons pounded into my head
Fobus holsters suck ass. Mine was so tight I couldn't draw my gun without pulling my belt way up. The Wilderness belt and the knee pads are great. Stock Beretta 92FSs have a horrible DA trigger pull; its like pulling on an anchor. One does get spoiled by a 1911's trigger pull.
JoeWang, you mind IM me with your notes? I didn't take quite as many notes as I should have and the ones I did take are pitiful.
