Restaurant owner posted a Meme on FB using image of Anne Frank while mentioning it was "hot as an oven" here in RI.  Subsequently, an apology was issued and apparently FB account was at least disabled.  They're taking quite a beating on the usual review sites, like Yelp.

IMHO, morality aside, if they're too stupid to know who Anne Frank was, and stupid enough to post an offensive meme using her image, they are far too stupid to be trusted in preparing my food.  YMMV.

Yeah, after reading the "apology" that was posted, I'm not buying that it was written by a person who was ignorant of Anne Frank because he left school at 13 to go to work, as the author of the "apology" claims.

IMHO, it was written by someone who didn't leave school at 13, the poster of the FB meme added some "exculpatory" details and the "apology" was posted.

Fake apology is worthless, and damage control pure and simple,IMHO.  YMMV.
