I'm lightly considering a move. Would welcome all input. I've been in the area almost exclusively for 3 years on a work basis.

A very good friend and former coworker works for a compression company and is offices in Big Springs. But he lives near Colorado City and said he would never live in or around BS.

Is housing costs the driver keeping you out of Midland?

Personally, I would take Big Spring over Stanton or Colorado City or Cahoma.


If housing costs or job location isn't an issue, then Midland. Simply for the little but more amenities available there or in Odessa.

Having lived off east marcy, Big Spring is just like any other town but on a smaller scale due to the prisons attracting their turd family members to the area. Keep you stuff locked up and don't advertise your life to people you don't want attention from and you'll be fine there.
