Good morning Delaware folks.

The wife and I are planning a stop in Newark to visit First State National Park en route to Boston on September 2.

Plan is to arrive around 8-9 am, have breakfast, visit the park, then continue north.

Any recommendations on a sit down and be waited on spot for a good breakfast close to the park?

TIA

In the town of newark? HomeGrown is solid along with Sinclair’s if you get up early. We have the regular chains around too, first watch, Eggspectation, etc. Helens sausage house if you find yourself near Smyrna at 0500

Cool, thanks man.
Yep, in the town, hopefully somewhere in between-ish I95 and the park.
I’m a big national parks geek and the old lady is humoring me on this
We need to stop for some grub anyway and the timing works out.
Appreciate the input!
