Ok, due to my job I have a first hand knowledge of this but I’ll put this out for you, the area of Polaris around the mall has been getting slammed with car break ins, especially at hotels. The thieves are groups of kids in stolen cars and usually inundate an entire parking lot. Numerous firearms have been reported as stolen over last few weeks. These kids also have spotters in lots such as Cabelas and they watch folks buy firearms and then they follow them to other stores and then break in and steal the just purchased gun. Bottom line is stop leaving your extra keys, firearms, computers and other valuables in your cars. The courts are not doing much to these kids and they are becoming more brazen as a result.
